Conference event on Pablo Palazuelo, , as part of the ““La obra escogida por/The work chosen by…” season, directed by Gonzalo Sotelo, under the title of “El Número y las Aguas I (1978). Graphic architypes from the work of Pablo Palazuelo”.
The event focusses not just on the canvas chosen from the permanent exhibition at the University Museum of Navarre, but also serves as a link for shedding light on the constants in Pablo Palazuelo’s working process. As such, particular emphasis is placed both on precedents as well as on the evolution that took place based on the formal series to which the work belongs.
PROGRAMME
7pm. The Work chosen by ….Gonzalo Sotelo, will be dealing with El número y las aguas I (1978), by Pablo Palazuelo.
Gonzalo Sotelo Calvillo has a doctorate in architecture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. A lecturer at ETSAM and curator for the Pablo Palazuelo Foundation. He has published a range of articles on, and commissioned exhibitions of work by, Palazuelo.
7.50pm. José Rodríguez-Spiteri Palazuelo, President of the Palazuelo Foundation (Madrid) and Adolfo Cayón, Director of the Galería Cayón (Madrid). The audience gets the chance to ask questions at the end of the session.
