Researcher Joan Gómez Alemany relates the work of Pablo Palazuelo to music.

Quodlibet is a music journal published by the University of Alcalá, in which Pablo Palazuelo appears in its latest issue.

Joan Gómez Alemany publishes in this journal a text titled “The Musical Pictorial Fugue: Visual-Sonic Interdisciplinarity in Pablo Palazuelo and Others”. In this article, we can find the connection between two major art forms: music and painting throughout history.

There is a musical form called the fugue, which can also be found in avant-garde painting through visual fugues. This concept appears in the works of František Kupka, Paul Klee, and especially Pablo Palazuelo.

You can read Joan Gómez Alemany’s text here.
